The PartyPoker VIP System - Up To 40% Rakeback:

1. Earn PartyPoints:

You automatically earn PartyPoints by playing poker on their
platform. Depending on the limit or buy-in, you need to play a certain
amount of hands/tournaments in order to earn 10 PartyPoints.

On average, you will earn about 2 PartyPoints per $1 of rake - for tournaments and SnGs, it's exactly 2 PartyPoints per $1 of fee. You can find an exact listing here: How to earn PartyPoints

2. Moving up in level:

The more PartyPoints you earn per month or quarter, the higher you climb in your level. Bronze, Silver and Gold are levels awarded on a monthly basis, while Palladium and Palladium Elite take into account the complete quarter:

3. Spending your PartyPoints - up to 40% rakeback:

a) PartyPoints Store: First of all, you can spend your PartyPoints in the PartyPoker store, where you can buy all kinds of products - from tournament tickets over luxury watches to a BMW M3.

b) Buying cash or bonuses: The second possibility is to exchange your points for money or bonuses.

While the bonuses have to be unlocked by earning a certain amount of PartyPoints before they are credited to your account, they have the advantage of getting you more value for your PartyPoints. For Palladium Elite players, a rakeback of up to 40% is now possible

PartyPoints earned in order to unlock a bonus won't be deducted, so they can be used or exchanged later. The bonuses will all be unlocked in 5 slices and you have a total of 180 days in order to completely unlock them.

9-Handed And Further Changes

9-handed: In the coming weeks, PartyPoker will change the No Limit full-ring tables from 10-handed to 9-handed.

Initially, the change will be tested on the lower limits, but over the next 1 to 2 weeks, they intend to switch all NL FR tables to 9-handed play.

Tournaments where the top prizes are all equal (Double or Nothing SnGs, for instance), now end right after the remaining prizes can be handed out.

Cards: The files for card graphics have been changed (all cards can be found in the same file now), meaning that own/modified cards don't work for the time being.

Is it wrong to have my friend at work talk to my ex gf about me, and try to make her miss me?
First off, he's gonna help me but he's not gonna tell my ex that I said a word. All he's gonna say is that I miss talking to her. Does it help that he's gonna have a poker party at his house, and invite couples, but me and her will be there. At the poker party there will be my friend and his gf, and maby 3 or 4 couples, and me, and her, not together, but we would see each other there. She doesn't hate me, she just needed her space, and it sounds like she either misses me or still has feelings for me.

Would you be intimidated by seeing someone who was from the upper class?
I THINK my boyfriend is part of high society. His parents live on a 10 acre plot in CT, he goes golfing all the time, he eats at very fancy restaurants, drives a $70k car and owns his own house at the age of 25. I, though, come from a middle class family...but I'm not sure he realizes this. There is so much that he's done that I haven't, and I wonder if he judges me for it. Its kinda embarrassing how many things he does (crabbing, golfing, fishing, sailing, playing squash, having poker parties, etc.) that I know NOTHING about. I constantly find myself on wikipedia trying to learn a little bit about each so that I don't make a fool of myself. Now that I actually think about, the only thing I do when I'm not studying for medical school is drink :( jesus...isn't this the plot of 'pretty woman'? hahaha

What to do when your job is compromised by friendship?
My boss is technically my friend. We worked together for almost five years in a restaurant. He was a manager and I was soon one after a couple of years. He was eventually forced to leave due to "creative differences" with the General Manager, and now he is his own GM at his very own restaurant. He offered me a job there and I took it. I have been at this job for about three months now. I was promoted to Assistant Manager in my first month because of my previous experience. Now I am training to be GM because he is becoming District Manager and will be looking after all the stores at the end of December. We're both very stressed. He is having girlfriend issues and has a baby due in July along with working 70 hours+ a week. I'm having a hard time adjusting to training to GM because I have social anxiety, which he is unaware of because I have grown comfortable with him after working together for so long (along with friends, my horse, and working 60+hours a week myself). He was having a 'Poker Party' this weekend. Which is basically the group coming over for drinks and cards. I did attend once and enjoyed myself. This week I had booked off Saturday because Friday I had committed too a cancer funding event that would last from 7pm-7am (no sleep). I texted him to let him know I was very tired and asked what time the game was at. He said 10:30pm and I texted back saying I probably wasn't going to go because I was so exhausted. He quickly texted back "Fine. Come in tomorrow at 2 then." Which drove me absolutely nuts. I hadn't been out to see my horse all week because I had to cover him so he could spend time with his family. I asked if I could come in a bit later on Sunday because I wanted to hit the barn before work. I texted back "We agreed four." To which I got "See you at 2 tomorrow or don't bother coming in." Now I heard he canceled the poker game. I know I may have hurt his feelings and disappointed him by not coming, but now I think he's putting my job in jeopardy. I'm a bit nervous to go to work tomorrow because I'm sure I'll be getting the cold shoulder which I don't need right now because the owner is flying down on Tuesday to evaluate the restaurant. What can I do to fix this? Is this even fair? I think he's being immature. I don't know how to tell him it's nothing personal without him blowing up on me. What would you guys do? Should I just quit and find a new job while I still can? I really need this job. I could be making enough money to support myself once I become GM. The poker game was going to be about 12 of us all from work. In his defence, it is thunderstorming out to the point where a few places have lost power. But he lives only a two minute drive from the restaurant so I don't see why they wouldn't drive there after work.
