Three Things to Know About Clay Poker Chip Sets

As you may be aware, there is a big difference between poker chips used in a Casino, and ones that you can purchase for home use. If you are an avid fan of this particular game, then you may want to purchase the kind of chips that are actually used in Casinos. In particular, you may want to buy clay poker chip sets. Regardless of whether you want to use these chips at home, or at another location, you will find that they are durable and enjoyable to play with.

How are Clay Poker Chip Sets Manufactured?

Many people that enjoy growing plants in ceramic pots can tell you that this particular material is very fragile. On the other hand, when you play poker, players may toss chips down on the table, or stack them up for a number of reasons. Under these circumstances, chips made from clay will easily break and be ruined. Therefore, chips are often made with a metal filler that enables them more durable. This composition also produces a fairly satisfying ringing sound that is one of the trademarks of Casino poker games.

Buying Clay Poker Chips Sets for Others

Even though you may not play poker very often, you may have friends that enjoy this game on a routine basis. In fact, they may love playing poker so much, they may have set aside an entire room dedicated to this game. If you happen to know that they like a particular version of poker, you may want to buy them a deluxe clay chip set for a present. Without a question, they will be sure to enjoy owning a set of poker chips that look and feel exactly like the ones used at their favorite casino.

The Most Popular Clay Poker Chip Sets

While there are many different variations of Poker, you will find that some are far more popular than others. Perhaps it should come as no surprise that the more popular variations also have specialized chips sets. For example, today you can purchase clay chips that can be used for Texas Hold 'em Poker, as well as several other variations. At the very least, if you or a friend enjoy this variation, you should make it a point to purchase clay chips that can be used during regular games.

When you visit a casino, you are sure to fall in love with all the vibrance and excitement that fill every corner. In fact, even if you aren't much of a gambler, you are sure to be fascinated by all that goes on during a game of casino poker.

That said, once you leave the casino, you may find that you will want to duplicate as much of the atmosphere as possible for local poker games. Under these circumstances, you will find that purchasing clay poker chips will represent a reasonable investment. You may even find that sets of these chips can be used for gift giving for just about any occasion.

Good blind structure with breaks and chip collection?
I am doing a home poker game this weekend and I wanted to know a decent blind structure with breaks. I want it so players start with $400. I want each round to last about 15 minutes with a 5 minute break every hour (so after 4 rounds). The denomination of chips are $1, $5, $25, $50, and $100... When do I collect the $1 chips, and then the $5? Also, I want to allow rebuys up until the first break... At the actual break if a player is close to going out, I want to allow that player to be able to re-buy... What amount should be the max amount for a player to have left in order for him to rebuy when the break hits... Remember I am starting with $400... Thank you so much in advance...
